Leg back, head back is easy enough to move. A darn breech I wouldnt mess with either If i can't get one to the vet i will give it a try. I have managed to get a few out. We all do whats needed when push comes to shove. All puns intended

We've had 2 breach calves and they both died, but the heifer and cow both lived so that was good. We just kept waiting and waiting till we finally saw a tail sticking out and then it was a oh crap moment. Both were down so I had to waller around behind them on my belly. I found it easiest to grab both feet and push and rotate the calf then work the feet back one at a time.

Some folks use a toilet plunger with the helper pushing on the calf's hind end to give them room to get the legs straigh. I've always thought it was a good idea but when it comes time to straighten one there's never a plunger and seldom a helper nearby so I just do it the old fashioned way.
