Other than making sure the flag is out on the front porch, I don't do much more than reflect on Veterans Day. Don't care much for the sales (tho i do need to shop for a new fridge this week) and ain't going to make any special trip in to town for a free bite to eat. I did tho, make sure I made my annual exception to 'no alcohol' and had a little drink last night for the Marines' 244th Birthday (always Nov 10). Wife brought a cake in from town so there was that attack on my A1C..  |
