i've never seen higher paying jobs posted EVERYWHERE
Jobs here.. STARTING.. don't even need a GED!!! at 29/hr !
I have not even seen a job for less then 15/hr posted anywhere here.
I've turned down more work then I could of ever dreamed of having. Everyone is spending.
I'm making massive amounts of money.. Housing prices have pretty much DOUBLED here.
All markets.. just insane. insane levels of growth.
Maybe you'd like Obama back?? Lines for a 8/hr job... stock market at 8k.... housing prices completely crippled.... Cities learning how to TAX w/o voting for it.. (obama showed them) It was getting REALLY bad. You're taxes, health insurance, etc.. all went up B/C of him.
That's been the experience around our area also. But the energy sector went from dying to thriving, and that improved everything around it.
Unleashing energy production was a no brainer. And I think areas with it, are seeing improvement quicker.
But it also helps all other areas throughout the US when you look at gas and diesel prices where they are and where they were. That affects every household directly, and every household indirectly by cost of transport of goods used.
I've had this discussion with Highgrit and some others. I believe that some areas are seeing the benefits faster than others. The screwing over of America has to be undone in planned fashion and unfortunately it isnt instant.
I dont like the idea of having to funnel tariff money to producers, but I think it's necessary as I've said for national security and I think the markets were targeted on purpose.
I'd rather see the regulatory capture, trade imbalances and currency manipulation ended. It's absolutely in process, but that's going to take a little bit longer to see it all completed. Even just taking on the domestic regulatory capture (though foreign ownership of packing is involved), the i's have to be dotted and t's crossed to prove it's existence, who's involved, how and such so that it can be dismantled and prevented.
Think about how many industries/commodities, hell the entire financial system has been regulated to benefit a few at the expense of the many. That's a lot to unravel while not throwing a wrench in it..
So as much progress that has been made, I can see where some have yet to benefit. I think we're all waiting on the cattle market to recover.
Look at the real value of beef and how it has deteriorated through your life. What was a 500, 800 or 1000 lb calf worth when you were young, and what could you buy with that money?
What can you buy now?
I'd summarize it by saying our country (actually world implications) is certainly getting better, but we're not there yet.
