Tested the 500+ cow dairy Tuesday morning and went to bed about 9 p.m. Tuesday eve. I used to waitress and have had all I need over the years of welcoming in the New Year. Don't need to see the ball drop or anything. Figured if I woke up Wed morning that it was a good new year.... if not then I wouldn't have to worry about it.
So, Here's hoping that the New Year is a good start to a better and more prosperous one for us all. Better weather, better calf prices, and hopefully a positive outcome for me with the ankle replacement, and anyone else having any surgeries or medical issues.
Prayers for the ones suffering from the horrific shooting at the Texas church,, and praise and thankfulness for the members that were able to stop the evil and senseless slaughter by the deranged shooter. I applaud their actions and maybe this will cause people to wake up and realize that even if there are underlying mental issues, we HAVE to stop making excuses for behavior like this and the persons doing it must be stopped and in my opinion, permanently.
