They look like the biggest, cleanest goats I've ever seen.....which ain't many. The comment about more profitable than cattle is interesting. How do you market them, and any brief info. for those of us who are ignorant of them? We always took them to a sheep and goat auction. Although if I was to get back in I would look into selling directly to a ethnic slaughter facility. Sheep and goats remain outside of the control of the big meat companies, so the producers can still get it fair shake.

Bootjack, was wondering if you know the Franseens, they are in northern Illinois not far from Clinton Wi, they have a nice goat herd,we built a couple of buildings for them, one was a free stall building for their goats.

I believe I do! They were Limi breeders, but sold out a couple of years ago. I did not know they got into goats. Do they have Boers? I've never seen them at industry events....

They were dairy farmers with a holstein herd before, they switched to goats a while back, are on the dairy side with goats,they have done a good job with it,I think their website is Franseens friendly farm,by the way you look like you guys have done a good job.
