Angusrancher, you seem slim and trim. Looks like it is working for you. I don't drink much coffee in the summer but do enjoy a Diet Coke first thing in the morning. The coffee in the winter sure warms my hands and body.

I'm pretty boring. Don't smoke, chew, drink coffee, do drugs and have maybe 1 or 2 drinks a year.....mostly one on my birthday and an occasional splash of amaretto in my hot choc and I can go right off to sleep on cold nights. I do my share of cussing though. We had about 5 inches snow on Tuesday, temps warmed up and the ground is wet from some rain that has come through. Supposed to get some nasty stuff this afternoon, wind and rain. Then sun. Temps back in the 50's and 60's. Date night with you wouldn’t be very expensive. :-) Yep, I'm a cheap date. Prefer an auction over a fancy day out, a good dinner over a fancy place. When I used to work at a resort as a banquet waitress, the joke was that I was a a cheap date because I didn't like wine or beer, and that 2 drinks would put me to sleep so not very much fun either!!!!!! Take me to a cattle sale, and I'm happy.

I think all the women on this forum must have a lot in common.
I remember the first time my husband asked me out on a date, he asked if I wanted to go out and eat or to a show? I asked him if he didn't have some work he needed to do at his farm. His best friend had a two wheel drive 4430 stuck in a ditch where the ground was really slick, and the front end blade had it wedged where it could not go forward or backwards. So he said we would go there and get his tractor unstuck. We got on a 4230 and I was sitting on the fender. When we got close to the tractor that was stuck, our tractor started sliding sideways. As it did, my husband stepped on one of the brakes to help get it turned around. At the time, I was not sure if my husband was a risk taker or did he know what he was doing. Ha-ha!!!! It did make me nervous how far we slid. But, I will say that he is really good with equipment.
He was able to pull the other tractor out. So, that was our first date. The day we got married at the court house, he in his overalls, and me in jeans, we headed straight to the hay field afterwards, as it had been raked the day before.

I never picked up the habit. I don't smoke, chew, drink coffee, do drugs, and I haven't had a beer in over 4 years. Damn I am as pure as the driven snow..... Speaking of snow, we had a couple inches last night. You’re not running for office are you ? There’s a head start on a campaign speech in there somewhere. I am not under any circumstances running for office. I am pretty sure someone would look into my past and find a lot of things which are better off left alone. My senior party lasted for 20 years.

For our anniversary last summer, Hubby wanted to take me somewhere "nice" to eat but my pick was Braum's. Love me a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger and kiddie size malt! I'm definitely a cheap date.
