Hello everyone! I'm new to this so please excuse any errors when trying to attach photographs or reply to questions. I was made aware of this forum (thank you cjc) after posting the above picture to Instagram. We are a small family owned and operated commercial hay farm and cow-calf producer offering registered and commercial Angus. There are only two of us, my husband and myself, so that limits the size of our herd, but we are continuing to grow at a steady rate. We currently utilize pasture breeding and keep three bulls to service our heifers and cows. My husband is a second generation farmer/rancher and I am a first generation rancher. I keep all our cattle records, run social media pages, and also work with/around our cattle each day. We are blessed enough to have plenty of land around us so we can keep our herd nearby. Let's hope this post works and I did everything correctly! *fingers crossed*

Great! I'm glad it came across correctly. I'll have to post some more photos of our herd once I get this whole forum thing figured out.

We are located up around Stillwater. It's a lovely area and we are so lucky to have Oklahoma State University nearby. It has been a wonderful resource for us.

I have worked around the Okmulgee and Beggs area and that's some of the best grazing land around. Good looking cattle everywhere there.

I have worked around the Okmulgee and Beggs area and that's some of the best grazing land around. Good looking cattle everywhere there. I'm originally from Illinois, so I'm used to seeing corn fields and soybeans. I'm far from an expert in what makes for good grazing land, but I have been told by numerous people in our area that this is a good place to raise cattle. Ours seem to do well so they must be right! We have a nice mix of native grasses and Bermudagrass for our cattle to graze on. In the summer, they really don't need any sort of supplement to keep condition.
