So I sit at the kitchen table one day doing paperwork. The TV is streaming YouTube videos it thinks I might like. When this comes on. I watched it , thought "that's kinda interesting. And forgot about it. The next day I deliver a load a pipe to a consignment auction. I browse around while they unload me. Then head back towards the truck. I walk right into it. 14 pods, all completely assembled, rolled up neatly in approx 300' sections. Around 1000' of extra poly line. All fittings. I have no idea what it's worth. I know the auction owner very well. Told him I'd go 400.00. I week later I get my check for my pipe, and a bill for 80.00 for the sprinkler system.
It works exactly like the videos show. You can move it easily with a ATV. I can drive down it and kinds fold it up on a 16 foot utility trailer and move it to another property with ease. I've ran 14 pods over 1000' with about a 8' uphill slope using a 2" trash pump. And I'm very confident it would do much more. It's really just a sprinkler system built on poly pipe. The pods allow you to drag it around without damaging the sprinklers. IDK what it would cost new.. but I'm quite pleased with mine for 80.00 Nobody else new what it was...

Sounds like a sweet deal. Other than pivots I don't see much irrigation around here of any sort but any sort of irrigation is a money maker when things do dry out!

That's interesting. Looked at some of the other videos too. Found a price for a 5 pod (2 acre kit) for 1200. So you did real good! Definitely worth more looking into.
