I’m in the market for a new Hot Stick. Need one about 3 feet long, don’t use one much just a few times, but they are handy when u need them. What’s yalls suggestion on a good one! One that works, and works well, and that’ll last a while.

I use a red hot shot. But my recommendation would be use whatever is readily available locally, in case you need replacement parts or service

The red ones are good when they work. Buy three and you'll be able to keep one running most of the time.

I have a yellow. No matter which one don't get the extra long shaft. It's too long for most purposes.

I also use the red hot shot. My biggest gripe is the batteries, seems like every other time I go to use it batteries are dead. Been looking for a rechargeable one to replace it. About the only thing I use it for is to keep them moving loading the trailer.

They make special batteries for them. Not sure what's different except for the price
