I wouldn't never admit to making it. Because its illegal. But i grew up around a bunch of folks that had made a lot of it. I will put it this way i knew the difference in a mash paddle and a lard paddle when i was a little fellar. Local legends in the biz were either my neighbors or kin folk.

Meade is made from honey with consistency more like beer. But it could be purified.
