I am carrying a 3 blade case stockman right now. Skinned and quartered a elk with it last fall for a public land hunter. Because what he had was to dull to do the job.

If I ever forget mine I feel naked. Always keep a clip on razor knife in my pocket during the week. And a small Case for my Sunday knife. 2 or 3 in the truck. One on every tractor. Probably got 50 in the safe that belonged to grandpas and father in laws, etc or that were given to me by my daddy or others as gifts. I use one multiple times daily.

Been carrying a trapper all my life except when I was a baby I had a Barlow . My first knife was a Barlow. Kept it for a long time for a boy. Trappers have been my favorite for a long time and I guess probably still are but I have a couple of sod busters that I've been using for the last 4 or 5 years that I really like. I have all kinds of knives. I even use replaceable blade knives which I use to look down on. You know, if a man can't sharpen his own knife then he's not really a man. Right. I have them stashed everywhere. I know there are 3 differ kinds of knives in my truck right now. They're in tool boxes, on tractors in tackle boxes, stored with my hunting equipment, in different drawers throughout the house but I am not in the habit of toting one in my pocket. Not saying I never do. I tote one when I know I'm going to be using one a lot. I am not a collector either. I just happen to have a lot of them in different places for different uses. Like those cheap replaceable blade ones my mother in law gave me for Christmas. Heck they are funny looking things but great for cutting hay wrap off of bales. I like them to. That wrap is rough on a blade. I toted my Barlow in my boot because my diaper didn't have pockets

Good topic. I have carried a knife since I was a small child. My dad gave me a small 2 blade "Buck" knife when I was 7 or 8. I lost it, for a while, in the mean time carried a little larger Barlow. Dad found the Buck knife while looking for something behind the seat of our 77 Chevrolet flatbed cattle truck. I was so glad to have that knife and kept a close watch on it, till was working outside in fairly recent years, I must have pulled keys out of my pocket and it come out with them unbeknownst to me. In recent years I have a hard time keeping up with a knife, but I always have one, even if its just a cheaper one that's fairly solid made. Currently carrying a Outdoor Edge one that I got at a hardware/lumber store in OK, when we visiting my wife's family a couple weeks ago.

Red always said you wanna know what kinda man your dealing with, take a look at his knife or lack there of.
I guarantee I forget my cell phone all over the place. But not my knife. There's a case trapper or two in every truck and toolbox I have. And always one in my pocket. A stone in every truck as well. I've got a beautiful mesquite handled custom engraved Moore maker that was a gift from my wife. I carry it on the rare occasion I dress up. But the case is a better knife. I fine knife catches my eye more than any gun. I can't stand a cheap knife. I buy about 20 case trappers every Christmas to give out. I guess 3lt will get one this year... he'll have to post his address though.

These two are with me every where I go, I like keeping an interchangeable razor knife, just makes it easier to keep a super sharp blade at all times. The Kershaw only comes out for serious stuff.

We went to a customer appreciation put on by Farm Credit. It was at a triple A baseball game. No knifes allowed. Both the wife and I had to go back to the car to put our knifes in it. They looked at us like we were strange to be packing a pocket knife. I can't imagine how a person gets by in life without a knife in your pocket.

They looked at us like we were strange to be packing a pocket knife. I can't imagine how a person gets by in life without a knife in your pocket. Several years ago when I started having to go once a month to corporate meetings in Tampa Florida I would look at me like I was crazy cuz we're only going 24 hours I would check my BAG. I carry a quarter inch 5/16 1/2 9/16 combo and a crescent wrench and a pocket knife and a Bic lighter everyday of my life and have for years. One meeting somebody needed a knife and I both went out of my pocket and they all looked at me and ask how did you bring a knife at that point I said I'd always check my bag. For the last 15 years when I'm at a corporate meeting inadvertently somebody will need a knife and they all know I have one.

Carrying a Boker bird knife right now. The hook is more useful than you would think. When I wear overalls in the winter time I carry a utility knife in my side pocket, and a serrated cheapy in my chest pocket.
My grandpa always told me to always carry a knife, it will save your life.
