Creekdrive, I ain't one to criticize but, that 5th picture down, then the ugliest calves I've ever seen. We sure don't breed cattle like that down here in the south...😁 Dammit boy, them's SAV America with a little ear bred into em. 😁😁😁  LOL I'm not sure what bloodline they are from but I think those guys have way to much frame to be SAV America descendants. |

I spend about 2 hours every morning moving tarps.
Is that ditch irrigation tarps ? Flood irrigation. The tarp dams up the ditch causing the water to back up and flow out in the field. When I have all the taps open I have 7 or 8 tarps to move every morning. The tarps are traditionally call canvases. I guess back in the day they were made of canvas instead of the plastic they are now. |

The horse crowd likes it. 5 wires and plastic caps on the tpost. ..we call it the liberal... Never mind fat.. he's gotta exposed nerve about girls making fun..... something happened in his past I reckon... Lol |

I have talked to a couple of horse folks that claim horses are more prone to get cut up with the single strand HT. I can't see it could be any worse than the wire you are unspooling..my nearest neighbor/horse guy wanted the HT single used on his front fence instead of barbed wire, which I understand (somewhat) but his other 3 fences are 5 strand Bekaert Gaucho (2 of those are also my fences that we share at property lines), and I sure as heck ain't going to replace them, and I'm not going to allow him to either.
From what I've seen at McCoy's builders, the price difference between barbed and barbless of the same brand and gauge is almost nothing, and some places, the barbless is actually a few dollars more, so it can't be just a matter of cost. Evidently, it don't cost the manufacturer much to put the barbs on.
