Or not fool enough to go round battling windmills for giants. Bush was a sucker and got suckered.

We're not talking a lot of water to patrol in the straight of Hormuz. Supposedly the US of A is there to provide safe secure commerce - trade through the straight of Hormuz? Sounds like we failed miserably.

Sounds like we failed miserably. Sounds to me like we are minding our own business. Wasn't our monkey isn't our circus. Britts are able to take care of their selves. If not then we can help them out. Seems the ship is already been turned loose. Funny how that all worked out so fast.

What’s going on? I’m out of the loop, but I don’t watch the news either.

Britannia no longer rules the waves..

Seems to me the Royal Navy might need to get the lead out of their ass.

I don't understand why the Brits dropped the ball on this. Just a few days ago the HMS Montrose got between 3 Iranian boats and a British tanker, trained her guns on them and sent them packing. Why not this time?

Why not this time? Silver that is a good question. As Grit said doesn't seem to be that big a area to keep a watch on and the Royal Navy surely knew a Brit tanker was in the area.

Seems to me the Royal Navy might need to get the lead out of their ass. Or put some lead in some Iranian azz. I would think after the hull mines a month or so ago there would be a certain restricted area around oil tankers. I'll promise you it's not a good idea to cut a corner of the restricted LOOP in Louisiana. I have that shirt.

The Royal Navy: As of November 2018, there are 74 commissioned ships in the Royal Navy. Of the commissioned vessels, twenty are major surface combatants (six guided missile destroyers, thirteen frigates and one aircraft carrier), and ten are nuclear-powered submarines (four ballistic missile submarines and six fleet submarines). In addition the Navy possesses two amphibious transport docks, thirteen mine countermeasures vessels, twenty-two patrol vessels, four survey vessels, one icebreaker and two historic warships (Victory and Bristol). Remove from that list, the ballistic subs, the aircraft carrier and it's support ships, and remove the amphibs, you don't have much of a blue water Navy. They try to have a presence globally, but are stretched thin and currently have only a single frigate in the waters off Iran. That's about to change..from a single warship, the Brits are going to double down (or up)..they're going to increase it by One. nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/iran-loves-royal-navy-doesn%E2%80%99t-have-enough-ships-patrol-persian-gulf-67232Beginning to see the problem?

It's sad when you can't defend yourself or the citizens of your country. The UK has muslim troubles and most are to scarred to say or do anything about it. I hate to say it but we're not far behind the UK. At least this POTUS is trying to slow the muslim invasion into the U.S. down.
