It looks like to me that at least one or maybe a few more of the CT loyal crowd are at least lurking around on this sight. I saw the other day that they are now making posts welcoming new members in the same fashion as this sight. I reckon imitation is really is the sincerest form of flattery. I haven't been there in a few days, so I have not seen, specifically what you're talking about, but I know that there's been a "Welcome" type board I think its called "new here" or something. Is that what you're talking about? And I agree, imitation is a sincere form of flattery. From what I saw a few days ago, JLTrent had started welcoming people via starting new threads in Coffee Shop instead of using the section at the top of the main index.

BH needs to go over to NewAgTalk's forum. In one week those guys would have him hiding in the corner licking his wounds.

JL Trent came here posted and all of a sudden deleted his post And the account. Idk why He ought to be hung. lol We don't hold hostages but I am curious as to why . He always posted controversial topics on CT And I would have thought he would have liked the freedom here. To each his own.

Thanks for contacting me Backhoeboogie!! Hey ! Thank you for coming over.
There were a lot of folks chilled out over at CT besides you. I sure miss a lot of the old crowd. A whole lot have gone on to the streets of gold.
Too many phone numbers I have lost thru the years. Lesson learned I suppose.
Good post on the bull's hind legs.

BH needs to go over to NewAgTalk's forum. In one week those guys would have him hiding in the corner licking his wounds. The guy is delusional. He seems to think his father invented the big Angus over a 50 year period. He's back on the "deep and soggy" description of his superior cattle. Other CT's are also so proud of size, weight, fat or volume. If all of that was new or was so time consuming to do then where were they when Basin Max and Pfred were around. It only took one time with either bull and a lot of other bulls like them and you had cows as big as tanks. Same for some of the bulls of every breed back then. Wonder if he or dear ol' dad wonder why the industry shifted away from the land of the giants once before? The weakness of so many purebred folks is understanding the need for environmental fit in commercial operations. Commercial folks and honest purebred breeders are going to consider environmental fit. Seems to be a CT disease - oral Ebola or something. First, biggest, best, highest, most, ...root a toot a toot. Then a few amens and croak, croak, croak from the frogs in the background.

I am glad to see a new forum go up. CT had become so sensored. No particular person ran me away, I just got tired of the need for so much control. Hi there Chuckie, good to see you again, Been a longtime.

JL Trent came here posted and all of a sudden deleted his post And the account. Idk why Wow, on both counts! I hadn't noticed his welcome posts in coffee shop, I "swung by CT last night". I had noticed a 3 page happy birthday Raven thread on "Everything Else". Odd that JL, or anyone for that matter, would do that. :/ Very strange.

How old is this BrookHill guy anyhow? I've read a few of his posts on some of the threads and he sounds like he's a young fellow, say in his late teens early twenties.

Could be older tho. Wisdom with age missed the mark with him.

From what I have understood he is older than that, although from a lot of his posts I agree with you he sure doesn't seem like it.
