I couldn't tell what you had there, is the hose feeding or sucking? It don't suck or blow....it's a auger , it screws. We are unloading, we buy it out of the combine while their cutting. Haul it home and unload and repeat.

That would be illegal here. But you could use it to put weight on the cows.

I'm going to think that other than feedlots in Hereford TX there is about as much corn fed to deer as there is cattle there

Archery deer season opens here on Saturday and runs through September 22. Archery elk runs the same. Rifle hunting is all a draw. Deer season is September 28 to October 9. For elk there are 5 different rifle tags in my neighborhood. One which is bull only, Two that are any elk. And two that are antler less only. The bull only runs October 23 to 27. The longest running cow elk season is October 12 to December 31. They only let you buy one tag. So if you buy an archery tag you can't rifle hunt even if you had drawn a rifle tag. Archery tags are sold over the counter so if you didn't draw a rifle tag you can still buy a archery tag.
I have a long run cow elk tag. I didn't draw a deer tag for this area. But I have enough land to qualify for a land owner preference tag. This gives me a rifle deer tag for the season but I am only allowed to hunt on my own property. One of my neighbors says he has a land owner preference tag and his preference is to hunt on the 30,000 acres of BLM he leases. With just a little bit of care a person could do this. Although in my case there is no need to do that.

I like the idea of a land owner preference tag. Seems only right that if the animals are costing you money that you should have the right to take one.

Bow season starts saturday here. Bucks are still in velvet, but it’s so hot I dont know how anyone could hunt jn it. Much less get it handled before it spoiled.

I like the idea of a land owner preference tag. Seems only right that if the animals are costing you money that you should have the right to take one. They are based on how many acres you have. I think you have to have 100 or 120 acres to get one permit. The more acres owned the more tags you can get. I have 1,200 acres so I am entitled to 3 deer and 3 elk. Personally I am only allowed to take one of each. I can give the others the extra tags or I can sell the tags. There are limits to how many I can sell or give away but my kids get the extras and the rules don't apply to relatives.
