Gas here local, went up $.10 a gal on Sunday at one station and by Sunday eve they had all gone up. From 2.17 to 2.27 and 2.29. All in response to the bombing in Saudi Arabia. I see that there were a couple of stations in Harrisonburg today (45 + miles north of me) that were still $2.15 but most were 2.29 and more.

Last week the gas went up $.10 a gallon and was 2.28. Most of the gas stations were $2.39, but the Farmer's Co-op was still at $2.28 this afternoon.

$2.19 for 87 octane, 10% ethanol in Sioux Falls, SD at Sams Club.
Miserable humid cold and more snow East of the Missouri.

It is $3.01 to $3.07 in town for regular 10% ethanol. Strange part is that I just had 120 gallons delivered into the tank here and it cost $2.97. Cheaper to bring it out 30 miles each way?

We will never see gas at 19.9 cents again.
According to the American Petroleum institute, Americans pay an average of 48.8 cents per gallon in taxes. The federal gas tax is 18.4 cents per gallon, while states set their own gas taxes.
People in North Carolina pay the highest in state and federal gas taxes, at 57.55 cents per gallon. Georgians pay the lowest, at 25.9 cents per gallon.

Well I am from Vancouver. The most expensive place to buy gas in the world haha. At least it feels like it. A good price now a days would be about $1.25-$1.30/L. So what's that, pretty much $5.00/gallon. Convert that to USD funds $3.83 USD/gallon. It got so bad awhile ago I was putting gas in my car at $1.90/L, that's $7/gallon.

The data and records are not current. I think it was 2018 data but California was not the worst (55.2 cents). Pennsylvania had the worst taxes (58.7 cents). Alaska was the highest average on price per gallon but their taxes were 14.65 cents. Texas state tax was 20 cents per gallon on gasoline.

I was going off a comparison I saw. A station in California and one in Nevada. Only 3 or 4 miles apart. There was almost a $2.00 difference in price.
