I'm good M.Thanks. Just been catching up on sleep after being up 24 hrs. We managed to get out around 11am and went to my sisters. Rain is ended and we will return home in the morning. Cows are all good, and on high ground on my sister's place.

Glad to hear. I was thinking about calling CB just to check on you. I figured he had gone to stay with Ron during the storm.😂😂😂 Glad you and your family are ok.

Many areas in this region are saying the rainfall in the last 24-36 hrs was worse than Harvey. I guess that may be true in some places on a per hour basis but total rainfall in the same 24-36 period of time is what made harvey so bad. I believe I only got about 15" of rain since tuesday around midnight. Took this pic thursday morning 9am and by far, most of it fell between 2am and 8am Thursday, with abou more 4" between. 9am and 10am thursday.

15 inches is still a lot to deal with.

That's a lot of rain. Lots of fence to fix, and roads washed out, etc...?

Back home and looks like we got a little more rain after we left here yesterday. We were lucky that the ground was so dry, the river very low and the lake downstream had some empty capacity. Mostly tho, lucky this one didn't hang around a couple more days. Fences are good, cows all accounted for, and everything seems to be good except my road, which is always needing repair and maintenance. Just got to get all my stuff off the trailer and back into the shop again. Thanks for thinking about me.
