A man in Iowa hog farmer was found guilty of killing his wife with a corn fork. He first stated that she fell on the tines but later investigation found out that the tines had gone though her back, and there was more than one thrust that went through her body. He said she was having an affair and did not want to split up the farm and seems he was very angry about it.
I can't imagine taking what I call a hay tine and stabbing someone twice with it. If someone has an affair, they are not happy in the marriage, and I would just have to sit down and talk to them about how we would go our separate ways if that is what it is going to come to.
There is no sense in living with someone that goes to other people for their emotional needs and to continue to stay married. When that person leaves the house, worrying if they were really where they said they were, and where are they going when they leave the house? Too much anxiety with that kind of relationship.
If they will do it once in the marriage, there is a good chance they will either continue with their relationship, or seek a new one.
It was a bad thing all around, but to kill the other having the affair is not the answer.
If a person is sent to jail for a long time, what is to be done with the farm? Would it be rented out to pay the taxes and the money to go into an account to pay for the taxes? I have never really thought about it before.
