Wasn't sure where to put this. One of the odd little things nature throws at us. This happened a few years ago and i was by it today. A windstorm had knocked one of my sister's oak trees down on my fence and the trunk landed directly on top of a tee post. When i 1st discovered it, there was only about 10" of post out of the ground and all 4 wires still attached to the post but pulled down into the ground. I pulled the post up with a chain and loader bucket and found the tree had turned the straight post into a Z shape as it drove it into the semi soft ground. I just left it like that and put the wires back into their place.

I have one with a 14" Ash tree still on top of it. The tree is hung up and leaned over into another tree. Not sure if I can get it down without tearing up the fence so I have just left it.

Back about 2 years ago before I bought this place I had a big dead cottonwood tree fall on a fence. It was about 3 feet in diameter. It must have dead centered the post. The post was still straight but drove deep into the ground and at least a foot into the wood. As I said it was a dead tree so softer than a life one but not too soft.
