This pump on a solar well took a crap. Here's the box that goes with it with the flashing lights, etc... Here's the holy crap price for that. Couldn't find just the pump. www.solacity.com/product/lorentz-ps150-c-kit/Found a 24v pump on Amazon for $106. Hooked up 2 wires to it instead of 4. Eliminated the flashy light box. And..... It's pumping a fairly good stream for a cloudy day, about like the Lorentz did. Might not last a long time, but, oh well. There's a tire tank and another tank completely under water....so I think we're okay.

www.solarpumps.com/ These guys are just down the highway about an hour from me. I have been through several of their pumps, had the last one rebuilt while I waited.

I drove down to the well that got the cheap Amazon pump this morning, it was pumping to beat hell, as far as solars go.

The rebuild was a little over half the cost of a new one if I remember correctly. If you couldn't get a good shipping cost it might not be worth the rebuild.
