Pretty nice celebration was held last night for Lt. Clint Lowrance returning home after six years in Leavenworth. Thanks to our president for cutting him loose.

About time! I'm all for holding our military accountable in accordance with UCMJ and the laws applicable to officer grades, but that kangaroo court that somehow passed for a legal court martial was a farce from beginning to end.

Shockingly the news glazed over this story this a.m but sure seemed to me he did a good thing. About time somebody is standing up for these boys that make decisions that are life in death in situations not many can relate too.

I was watching a privately recorded video this morning where Lt Lowrance said that Trump told him some generals were upset by the president's decision.

I'll bet they are, especially one general joseph berger, who was chief judge at his court martial and is also Commander of the U.S. Army Legal Services Agency went to a big think tank meeting in D.C. in 2018 and said some very disparaging words about lt Lorance, AND mistated several facts about the event from which the charges emanated.
[/QUOTE]
Lt Lorance was found not guilty of the charge of changing RoE but the general has never corrected his mis-statements and being head judge for the whole Army, his words likely influenced the military appeals court as well as Sec of Army to deny Lorance a new trial on appeal.
