So, my newest granddaughter has an eye problem. Shes 3 months old, and both eyes are tracking like lazy eye. She doesnt focus on objects. They took her to the specialist yesterday, and their are 4 possibilities.
1 is a chromosome problem that is likely to be total blindness
2 is neurological issue
3 is something akin to that cancer that sometimes shows up in a photo when the eye shows red
4 is just lazy eyes slow to develop their eye muscles.
More tests are needed, but we’d appreciate any prayers you got

Dang Hook, I really hate to hear that. Them grandbabies are really special, it would break my heart if something was wrong with one of mine. I'll pray for her.

Just saw this Hook. It makes my heart ache to hear this. But don’t give up hope just yet. May be something she will overcome with no ill effects. The best thing you can do to for her is to talk to the Lord about it. She will be in my prayers. As will you and your family.

Thanks all. My daughter is being proactive. They (their insurance) wanted to wait 2 months for a referral to a genetic specialist for testing because the doc said it wasn't urgent, but she got on the referring doctors case, made an appointment for next week and got the doc to order the testing. At least this way they can have an answer on the chromosomal side quickly.
