I am looking for a good heavy duty battery tender with large clamps for my tractor. I had one, but one side went out the first year. I want it to have dual hook ups for each battery. Do any of you have one that has given good service? Most of these tenders have those tiny little clamps that will barley connect to the large wires on heavy equipment. Thanks in advance!!

For a tender just cut the clamps off and put a loop end connecters on the wire and use battery bolt to connect it.

Schumacher makes one we use on gate operates. We use them instead of the junk that comes with the opener. Comes with clamps and loop connectors. Not dual though. About 30 bucks at home Depot. Been using them about 5 years and haven't replaced one yet.

When looking for a battery tender, I'd suggest looking for one with a desufator mode. I've been using them for a couple of years and they make a difference. I had a desulfator I bought online and then left it in a box, never used, until I was looking for something else and discovered it. It was just a desulfator, no charger.
So to see if it really did anything I tested it. Had an Interstate battery that was dead and set outside the winter, waiting to take to the recycler. I tested the voltage and CCA, then hooked up the desulfator. A few days later I'd check and write down the reading. After about a month the battery was up to near the CCA rating.
I installed that battery in my R40 Ditch Witch trencher and used it for a year and a half. So now I look for the maintiners with that feature.
