This season, our first here in Tn is all trial and error. We have 4 squashes going. Yellow, zuke, butternut, and acorn. Some cukes that arent doing well, about 10 tomato plants that are kickin butt, some green banana and jalapeñop that are doing well. Also some corn that is rockin and some beans that are slow to grow but are looking good
What are you doing?

My neighbor is retired and has nothing to do but grow a huge garden. Every night when we get home there is a plastic Walmart sack sitting on the porch with vegetables in it.
I got it like that. 😁😁😁
Of course when we kill a beef, he get's paid back.

Corn, green beans, okra, butternut squash, asparagus, peppers, sweet potatoes, and melons. It's been so wet that everything except the corn is a struggle. I put out a dozen tomato vines and every one of them is gone. Over half of what I've planted had died due to flooding. I did plant a pretty big pumpkin patch that is doing fairly well. There's about six families that I know of with small kids that are going through divorces and stuff like that. I'm hoping I can be a little bright spot for those kids this fall. I started seeds for a fall garden a few days ago. Broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cabbage, peppers, and tomatoes. This will be the first time I try peppers and tomatoes as a fall crop.

And I pick them every other day. Planted 12 hills and have a part time job just peddling them off. For free. Squash making like crazy. Tomatoes and peppers look like shyt. I ain’t losing no sleep over the peppers but I’m pissed about my maters.

Potatoes, tomatoes, that's a must. Lots of fruit, because the kids love it. Generally, this year it was more difficult. It was hard to find good products. It was hard to work. But I am glad that we made it, and we will gather what we have grown.
