What he did wasn't right because he was a cop? I'm sure she was playing her part as well and has probably done worse for less.

When you take an oath to uphold the laws it's expected that you do just that. Forget the lady cop as she is doing her job and her background doesn't mean squat in this case.

Kid who grew up across the street was a cop for years. Lost an eye in an accident at home. Medical retirement from the police. Went to work as an investigator for the prosecuting attorney office. He got bust in a prostitution sting. I think he went into permanent retirement after that. I always wondered how his marriage held up.
I will have to ask my brother about this Seattle PD captain. My brother retired a couple years ago from SPD after 35+ years. I will probably have some fun with this one.

more and more of..... DO AS I SAY.. NOT AS I DO....
They think they are the law.. it doesn't apply to them... and if he doesn't get the charges dropped.. worst thing he'll get it a "demotion" which means nothing.
AND captian of the fire department?? wow.. 2 retirements from the city!!!

Double dipping (retirement) isn't all that unusual. If ya have the time in and the contract says it's there, I don't see anything wrong with it.

He was also an elected fire commissioner not a fire captain. That is a meeting or two a month deal which pays little to nothing.

Child porn sting and I would say drag him down the road til you got nothing left but frayed rope. We got a lot bigger problems in this country than prostitution and in the big scheme of things a guy trying to get a little isn’t to bad. Yeah I get he is supposed to be upholding the law but we all make mistakes. Would rather have one that solicits a hooker than one on the take to look the other way. I can tell you which one does a better job enforcing the laws fairly and justly.
