Anyone heard from Ken in Australia with all the fires there I hope he is safe.

Saw he posted New Years Day on the other place. Said it was the driest year in ages but didn't mention any immediate dire problems.
Ken lives in SE Queensland.
The worst of the fires appear (for now) to be in New South Wales and along the coast. He could still be in harms way tho...seems all of Oz is dry as a tinderbox.
