I appreciate your answer. I would say you won by 200.00 The market is actually tough. My top bull sold for 2700 If he would of been angus that would of been 4000+. Right? Nice bull, got a little bit of a break in his topline, but very nice over all.

Looks like a good bull for the price. $2200-2000 is right in line with what he would bring up here right now too. Congrats on a successful season of selling bulls. I know it is not an easy or quick task and the returns won't make you a prince.
Side note Ron- Someone really needs to teach you how to take good pictures! No excuses man, if I can do it, anyone can!

What did he weigh BR? I'd have bought him for that price if he was closer and not black! That price is a little lower than I would expect to pay around here. I've been getting my full bloods and cross breds in the $3,500 CAD range, so somewhat over $2,600 USD I guess. But if I wait until spring and try to buy what I want at auction they shoot right out of my price range.

He had great scores. 38.5 cm on scrotal.

Good looking bull, even if he is the last one to have sold. I made an observation back years ago when I had a few bulls to sell. It seemed like at first when the group was all there myself and most customers would be in agreement with the top 1 or 2 then after that it was sometimes surprising which one a customer would pick out. They would usually say I like a certain one because of xy or z.
