For those that might be interested harbor freight has a coupon for their titanium welder 110 volt $170. It weighs just 15 pounds and performs and side-by-side test is equal or greater to Lincoln. I'm fixing to go pick one up if they have one in stock. I am posting the coupon if anyone would like to pick one up . just print it off. These will do up to quarter inch and a good unit to keep in the truck .

The store here makes you print a coupon, they won't accept it on your phone (so annoying).
I always wondered if that was standard for all of their stores?

Has not been a problem here I usually just keep the ad and scroll to the one I need. If I am using several coupons I will print them so I don't forget what I am after. |

That welder is on sale in this area for that price for Jan. 10,11,12. I guess it was just the early coupon I posted yesterday. I set it up last night and ran a couple of test beads . I think I am really gonna like it for light stuff. I have a 220mig (harbor freight) that is several yrs old and I have ran countless 5# spools thru and just finished another 11# roll of wire. I have has very good luck with stuff from there. |

I think HF is stepping up the quality of their tools this last year or so. I was in there yesterday and got a package of 4 ratchet tie downs for $7. And they had free tarp
(5x7)with purchase. Not much of a tarp, but good to cover something.

Not much of a tarp, but good to cover something. The stack of those cheap tarps came in handy after hurricane. I really like the hand tools and when they get lost its no big deal.
