Just a simple idea that might help someone. Had the local machine shop fabricate this so the weld was professional, but the design allows for the angle to be adjustable.

There aren't any steel corner posts around here. Looks good though.

Tcranch, did you replace the corner post because the were ugly? I'm sure they didn't rot!

Looks like it works good just not very pleasing to the eye. Lol, probably most things around here aren't. That corner is probably 105 or so degrees due to a railroad cutting through that place, so it isnt a square 90. Seems to work alright. We run alot on and off winter pasture. That place gets all the delinquents that dont respect the idea of rotation. So far, no offenders there going on 3 years.

In cases like that, I simply saddle the pipe out, but make the final weld in place.
We have too many grass fires around these parts. Wood is not a good product.

We have lots of rock jacks. There is lots of rock available at most any fence corner. And you can't dig holes because there is lots of rock at any fence corner.

Tcranch, did you replace the corner post because the were ugly? I'm sure they didn't rot! They are ugly! Had a couple pastures that were nothing but hedge but the wire needed stretched (and in some cases replaced) so switched to pipe & t-posts. The fence around the central pasture was completely replaced. $$$$ but so much better! One of our neighbors gathered up all the hedge to burn in their fireplace.

Amazes me how many miles and miles there are of these up there: We have a freakin' ton of limestone! But limestone posts are more common in western KS. We do still have some "fences" that are stacked limestone - and falling apart. Used a lot of top pieces for the fireplaces when we built the house.

Highgrit, back in the day those post were made that's all they had. There were virtually no trees in western Ks. then, so they split rock!
