I really do enjoy when people post pictures and stories about their dogs.

We have a very talented baker in town, Oh My Ganache Cakes, and she recently posted a Corgi cake - including the butt:

Question for BR or anyone else with Corgi's...are you using them to work your livestock?

Question for BR or anyone else with Corgi's...are you using them to work your livestock? Fire Sweep does. I bought both of mine from them. Mine are out of their female, Penny but have different fathers. Their female, Ziggy who is a full sister to Sky is excellent at handling their cattle. Maybe Fire Sweep can add to this. The picture below is my dog, Sky. She is a full sister to Ziggy. Ziggy does a great job with cattle. I wish Sky had her talents. But Sky is the prettiest. 🤗

Question for BR or anyone else with Corgi's...are you using them to work your livestock? My mom always had a couple floating around. They worked whatever we had on hand from ducks to cattle. They are really similar to a good border collie except they don't travel very well. They do really well in an arena where stock is close by and are honestly the easiest stockdogs to train that I've ever been around. I used to rope a little at a small arena where the owner's corgis would do all the work from bringing the cattle in from pasture to bringing them back up after the last one was run without being told. They added in steer wrestling and within a month or so no hazer was needed, lol. Most of the ones that I've seen have a really nice balance of gather and drive. I haven't seen many really get on the head(I can't blame them) but they will figure out how to get ahold of a front leg really quick.
