I have two Corgis that I bought from Fire Sweep Ranch who just joined us. This is one of her pups that was being shipped out the day the picture was taken. They got a new male last year. His pups are gorgeous.

This is their male, Denim. You can see where that beautiful pup got his traits.

That's a beautiful puppy, but aren't they all? My wife claims she's done with pets when these are gone so we can start traveling.....I don't believe her but she is very strong willed.

My corgis are my kids! I get so much amusement out of watching them interact. But just like cattle, they certainly put limitations on your lifestyle. Here are my two:

Dogs will always be part of my life. The love and companionship they give me day in and out is more satisfying than traveling. Am I an odd ball? Yes!
BR, those are beautiful dogs. I have only seen one once in my lifetime. I used to run a route daily and when I would go by the house that they lived at, the little dog would chase me from one corner of the back yard and get to the other and just start spinning in one spot. I suppose it was turning around so that it could see if I was still there. It was a quick little dog!

My dogs make some things inconvenient but they provide me a lot of companionship.

When you open it see which one is happy to see you.

Brightraven, Are your Corgi's aggressive about their territory? Do they dig for varmints and such like the Jack Russells do?

Brightraven, Are your Corgi's aggressive about their territory? Do they dig for varmints and such like the Jack Russells do? They have strong territorial instincts. The neighbor has three dogs. She walks her dogs post the driveway up to my place. When I take the dogs for a walk down the driveway, they renew all their territorial markings. They are also very competitive. When I sit down in the recliner, there's a fierce competition to see who will occupy the chair with me. The one that loses often lays near the chair and growls at the one that won. It is a lot of entertainment.

They sound like really good dogs. My two dogs get upset if the other one gets in the chair with me too. Often Mike will go to the back door and scratch at that point to try and lure her out of the chair. Dogs are just so smart!!

They never bother anything.
