I think I might have made a bad trade lol I know the lil tractor has been sitting for about 7 years. And was running when parked. Cows have ate all the wiring, but that's simple enough. Fires on ether Using the pump primer Ive bleed up to the pump. Very little fuel out of the pump bleeds, good fuel to the pump and through the return. No fuel out of injection lines when cranking. 12 volts to the shut off gets audible clicking at shut-off . Not so sure it's worth putting a new pump on. Anybody been inside this pump? Possible it could be plugged or solinoid stuck? What is the best route to the shut-off, through the top or through the inspection plate. Jd 820 3 cyl free photo hosting

Fence, not familiar with that pump, but when you're turning it over be sure to have the fuel full on. Here's a YouTube video that may help.

Nothing to them just pay attention to what goes where . It's likely gummed up.

My husband can tear one down and put it back together. But when I showed him the old injection pump, he said, "If it were mine, I would take it to someone that does it day in and out because most likely you are not going to remember exactly how it came apart, then there are troubles."

chuckie...cell phone cameras and other digital cameras + internet changes all that. Nowadays, most people take pics or video as they are disassembling things so there will be no question on how it goes back together. Not much need now to have to rely on memory or a manual's exploded parts diagram.

Looks like the old Roosamaster we use to have on the old GM diesels 3 screws on top and lift straight up the solenoid under the top .and return line fitting ..the solinold may be working but the slide may be stuck. no big deal to remove the top just get the solenoid lever back in the slot.. sit it down in the slots and slide the top forward to remount it..you should be able to hear it click when engage afterward ..if not, its not in position ..it can run away with you..if you ever have em run away, clamping the return line if you can ,with pliers will kill it..

Ha-ha!!! Greybeard, my husband still uses a flip phone. So do I. Many of the pictures I post on this board and other places on the web were taken with my flip phone.

My younger brother gave me his old iPhone 6S. I had a flip phone before this one. When this one goes out, I will be back on a flip again.
