Just wanted to share this in case it might help someone out along the way. I had a friend recommend taking tart cherry daily for arthritis, inflammation and/or gout. I have arthritis pretty bad in both knees. When I was 35, i had bilat MRIs done and my Orthopod exclaimed, "what the hell did you do to yourself? You have the knees of a 70 year old man!" The price of abusing your body in the ignorance of youth... I also occasionally will get gout. I started taking tart cherry at the last onset of pain in my great toe(anyone who has had gout knows exactly what I'm speaking of). The pain and inflammation was gone within 24 hours. I take it daily now. It's cheap and can be found on Amazon, Wal-Mart or any big box pharmacy. Hope this helps someone out. Wish I knew about it a decade ago.

Does it help your knees? Mine are wore out Yes, no where near the the pain intensity. I'm on my feet 12 hours each night I work and it has really helped with the chronic aching.

I had a lady that I used to work with that spoke of how her body ached and she started drinking the same tart cherry that you mention. She said that it turned things around for her too.

sounds like a dandy fine cherry liqueur kenny
I might have to give the cherry a try sometime. We have both been taking a turmeric supplement for inflammation for about a month & 1/2 and have been quite pleased with the results. I confess that I'm normally not a fan of supplements, but the turmeric has truly made a difference. I have rheumatoid arthritis, husband has copd and is Alpha 1 positive, so systemic inflammation is an issue for both of us.

I don't know about tart cherry but I've been buying the 100% cherry juice and drinking a glass every morning and my elbow feels better than it has in a long time. The only other thing that has really worked is bee stings.
