I heard from a pilot on another board that flies one of the routes all over China and Vietnam. Wuhan, the capital of China’s Hubei province has been placed in full quarantine, and all travel in and out is prohibited except military and medical people. Surgical masks are all but sold out in every major Chinese city, but from what I've heard elsewhere, that genie is already out of the bag. Then, there's this: www.livescience.com/unknown-viruses-discovered-tibetan-glacier.htmlHave they unwittingly let the genie out of the bottle?

Another undesirable export from China. Considering what's happened to their swine population, the threat shouldn't be taken lightly.
Does anyone else live in an area that was hit hard in 1918? Old cemeteries don't lie. We can do a lot more for the ill nowadays, but it's still a viral threat.

If you walk around the old cemeteries in San Antonio, there is a dis proportionate number of tombstones for 1849. Cholera epidemic. Cholera, even today, is still rampant in many parts of the world.

Not too worried. You should live each day as if it is your last, which is why I don't have any clean laundry because, come on, who wants to wash clothes on the last day of their life?
From a friend of mine that is currently and has been in China for over a month. He's an airline pilot flying an A380 Airbus but is not allowed to leave Chinese airspace.
"The Chinese gov is using blood from folks who have recovered from the virus to help the very sick in hospitals. Supposedly 11 of the most sick are doing better."
I can't question him much about it as everything he sends via the web is probably being looked at by Chinese eyes.
