I'm glad I didn't have to buy my bull there.. Looks like 90% of the bulls that sold at the price I paid for mine were herfs Oh, but imagine the glory of spending big money on an animal in front of a big crowd....

I think that's what a lot of it is... my "pick" of this ranch's other bulls last year went to the Williams Lake bull sale and got between 5500 and 6500 bucks.. Was he a better animal? well, depends on your goals for him I guess, he was a faster grower, more masculine, He still had good calving ease EPD's, so he just gave up less other traits to do so.. I just looked at his EPD's again and he's above average in all but two (marbling and docility, though he was docile)

There's an old adage at Red Bluff that you can tell when hubby is in the dog house cause he pays an exorbitant amount to buy his wife a dog. ROTFL.
