fence.. i'd go look at square site or wix and check them out.. You'll be surprised. Most people today want a business website that displays a simple, one page site. that site looks like something out of 1999... its just missing the flash animations. you don't need a website guy for a simple business page. you can pay places like godaddy etc to get your site up higher in results. that would be much better then paying a designer. just trying to help you out don't take offense. Why would I take offense to anything you say..lol Your advice is appreciated I don't like the site either. That's why I'm trying to do something about it. My comment was based on the fact that I don't own a computer. Just a phone. Although I have no desire to change that. I guess I need to. So what should a man start with? In the way of a computer, scanner printer type set up. ?? |

you don't need anything fancy for it.. Mac or PC will do, If you're going to use it for other things the scanner/printer will be nice.. but not essential to the job at hand... I gave up on inkjet printers, they waste more ink than they use if you don't use them much (like me).. I got an HP mf1210 i think? scanner/copier/ laser b&w printer.. does great for what I need.. it was $60 new on sale.

Fenceman, I use a laptop. So does my wife (she also has a smartphone)
They are pretty inexpensive.
you can get just about any kind of printer/scanner to hook up, either USB or wireless for easily under $100. I use a cheap HP Deskjet 2600 ink jet type. If you get an inkjet, you do have to use it ocassionally or the ink will dry up in the nozzles. The printers are cheap...the ink cartridges are not.
