This bull has a powerful phenotype. A Purebred outcross. Not calving ease. Long, and suppose to have good feet. He has been around a while. Has anyone used him?

That's what I call a good top line.

Inquiring minds would like to see an actual USA and/or Canadian Simmental registry link to the bulls you've touted.

herdbook.org/simmapp/template/animalSearch,AnimalSearch.vm 76Bar. The end of the URL is being excluded. I can copy the URL to my clipboard but when I copy it to the post it gets converted. You will have to type it into your browser. Then in the animal search box, type in the registration number 2914313 and hit search.

I think he might see more use now that they have updated his picture. The pic they used of him last year made him look much less appealing.

Notice the pedigree. The top 2 are registered under the Canadian Association Interesting. I traced those Canadian cross registrations on the paternal side. The bulls paternal side goes back to Montana. I thought maybe there was a Canadian breeder in the woodpile but it seems to be just a case of the breeder registering his cattle in both Associations.

I would imagine that happens a lot.

If you can't personally view a bull its imperative to see a walking video taken in short grass/hard surface. More than a few hyped pretty boys prove to be structurally disappointing.

If you can go see a bull you plan to use, put the effort in to do that.
Also, build a network of folks who have seen these bulls or have evaluated them. If you build a relationship, you can get some privileged information from folks close to these bulls.
