Does anyone have or shoot the 204 Ruger? I'm looking for something to shoot varmints with and the 204 looks to be the ticket on paper.

My brother has a little break open single shot, maybe an H&R? He keeps it in the truck for a farm gun and likes it a lot. Taken several groundhogs etc. with it. You hand load so not an issue but it’s pricey to shoot a lot if your buying factory loads.
For me I am not sure I see a benefit over .223 but it’s always fun to have something different. Ammo availability and selection are the only reason I lean towards the other.

I have one and like it a lot. Prefer it over my 22-250.
