What would a limo like that do on an f-1 simiangus herd. What would he do for them, I think that's what I'm asking. Terminal calves

I've went back to the Nichols breeding program. Their 3rd cross is South Devon. Don't know why,but I'm not thrilled with that breed. May come a day someone wants to use them for replacements. Not a lot of limos around here, but the ones I've seen were always studs. Used to worry about disposition, but know that has been mostly fixed. Just looking around at options, thanks Randy.

I’m not real familiar with South Devons but I really can’t see that as a logical cross on SimAngus. For me I would go back with Angus or Hereford for the next generation if wanting to stay with a British breed. I would think a continental 3rd cross for selling commercial calves would be good. I’ve only had one Limousin bull and he was the calmest bull of any breed that I have had. I’ve seen the other side of them too, have brought in some Lim feeder calves that have ranged from calm to crazy but I can say that of any other breed too.
