The mountains on both sides of the Baker City / The Powder River Valley. These two pictures were taken just outside Baker City far enough that the houses and such didn't block the view. Can't see these from our house. You have to run a quad up to the top of the hill and there is too much snow up there right now. But every time we go to town they jump right out at you. When the sky is clear and the sun shining they are certainly picture worthy. The Elkhorns (the first picture) are so close to Baker you can almost touch them. The Wallowa Mountains are farther off but a larger more impressive mountain range. I did zoom in some on the picture of the Wallowa but not on the Elkhorn Mountains. Sun rise on the Elkhorn and sunset on the Wallowa is really something to behold.

Nice as long as the snow stays on mountian and i am not on the mountian. Pretty Dave. It is the end of February. Odds of snow in the valley are dropping quickly. Not that we can't have some yet. But chances are it will be the here in the morning, gone by afternoon kind.

You are killing me Dave!! Oh how I wish I could look out and see those beautiful mountains here. I would even take a babbling brook running through my pasture, not drainage ditches that catch the water that runs off of crop land. But, I had rather be where I am than in town.
I am happy with what I have, but it never hurts to wish!!
