Hemp consumption has been shown to cause arrhythmia including ventricular tachycardia, and potentially sudden death, and to increase the risk of myocardial infarction. It will surprise me if hemp ever becomes a cash crop for many.
Kinda like the cattle business. Those $3000 cows are now worth about 40-50 cents a pound, but at least you can sell them.. I saw many throwing up bids for those and knowing they could not afford them. It will take a few years to overcome if they ever do, no doubt. It was good for the sellers though, while it lasted, but in the long run caused input cost to rise that have not come down and has done more harm than good in the long run.
