We have one in front of the house and the birds love to perch on it. BUT those vile red wasps love to build nests inside. 15 year old neighbor kid that sometimes works for us rang it last summer - and ran like his pants were on fire!

Wasps aren't as vile as the Robin's they shit on everything here during the winter. A sign of spring is when the bastards go home.

We have robins year round here, but they go into the wooded areas during the winter, Occasionally some will come out in the open areas on warmer days through the winter. With the numbers of them around here in the spring and summer I can understand how a mass migration of them would be. Are there lots of House sparrows there. Lately if I leave the garage door up for a few minutes I’ve got sparrows in it.

Those red wasps are probably the varmit that bothers me the most. I think they will go out of there way to sting me and if I happen to come across a nest of them there’s not hardly any any way of avoiding it. I try to keep cans of the long range wasp spray in several locations for just such an emergency.

I don't mind them much but they will build a nest in just a couple days.

If they're true house sparrows and not wrens then kill the little bastards. They are an invasive species that nest by waiting until natives build a nest and then they kill both parents and the eggs.
