This is our canine crew. Jip a little over 3 year old female Blue Heeler. Then these are 2 of her pups by my male Border Collie Sam. We lost Sam just a couple weeks before his pups were born. There were five in the litter all males we kept 2 we identified them by their distinguishing features and unfortunately for them they learned those names and they stuck.
Jip helps me with cattle and likes to ride in the utv. She also likes to attack the garbage can, gates when being opened or closed. She is pretty anti social but will warm up to some people.
this is Fatboy aka Fats, who isn’t really fat anymore. He was the first born and largest his head was disproportionately big but he finally grew to it. He has always been the top dog and all of his brothers and mother would all gang up on him and he would amazingly hold his own. He is very vocal and can go from whining when we leave to a ferocious booming bark almost like a German Shepherd when he hears somebody coming to the door.
this is Brownie, he doesn’t have much brown but it was a distinguishing feature between he and another similar puppy. Brown is pretty much all Border Collie temperament quirks and all. He is kind of picking up some his mother’s cattle driving.
