The wife came down with type A flu back on the Feb 29. She wasn't seen by our nurse practitioner until the following Monday to receive Tamiflu. I started symptoms of the flu on Tuesday. She stopped taking her meds and started me on them due to my IPF, but I went the next day and got my own. She refused to start back on hers because she can't swallow a pill and the powder tasted too bad.
Anyway, she never improved and after a second clinic visit I made her go to the ER this past Tuesday, the 10th. They diagnosed her with type A and pneumonia, and was admitted. (They have barred me from the hospital due to my IPF and their load of respiratory disease patients.) Yesterday they moved her to ICU where there were ventilators because her O2 wasn't improving and in case she needed one. This morning they put her on one, along with a pic line to get stronger blood pressure meds in her as her BP was to high.
I'd appreciate any thoughts and prayers for her.

You got it hughespied. I am so sorry to hear about your wife having pneumonia. And you not being able to visit her must be really hard on you. You and your wife are both in my prayers. I pray that you and she both will get a speedy recovery.
