I think that this thread deserves a new title: " How to Die From Covid if you Have a Democratic Controlled Doctor and Hospital."

I think that this thread deserves a new title: " How to Die From Covid if you Have a Democratic Controlled Doctor and Hospital." Sad but true, we don't know anyone who has died from the Chinese virus.

My mil most likely won't make it thru the night. If she does they will take her off the ventilator in the morning. Lungs are too damaged from virus and pneumonia.

Hate to hear that, seems they have to turn it around before you get to the ventilator.

She was on hydroclorquine and some other stuff while she was at home. Pneumonia set in and she woke up Friday 3 weeks ago and couldn't breathe. She had viral and bacterial pneumonia. She told everyone up to that point she was fine. She didn't use her oxygen like she should have and has has Issues since she almost died 5 yrs ago from being allergic too blood thinners from open heart surgery. She was high risk and told my wife when she went to cook some food for her in-laws that if she got it and it killed her that was fine. The Dr should have put her on a nebulizer is only thing I can see that might have helped.

For 2 weeks she made improvement every day. And responded to Dr and nurses up to then . My wife went up to see her last Thursday and since then she has declined every day. She said she has her eyes open but looked like she was gone. We know the Dr very well and he is allowing my wife and her brother to go this morning when they remove the tube so she is not alone.

Alot of people have horror stories of in-laws. I couldn't have asked for better. I knew her before I met my wife 30 years ago . She tried for a year to get me to ask her daughter out on a date. My wife didn't want to because she told her mom I was a man whore.

M-5, I am sorry to hear that you are losing someone close to you. I am sorry for your wife as well. That is pretty funny that she liked you before your daughter did.
