Yesterday I got a garden plot tilled up. First time it’s been dry enough to. We got 15 lbs of Kennebec taters the last that our Southern States had, we then called around and located another feed store a ways away that had them in bulk we then got what we originally wanted 50lbs of Red Pontiacs. We went ahead while at SS and stocked up for the year on Roma bean seed. I try to plant beans 2 to 3 times and usually count on having a bunch of fall beans to can. Going to try corn again this year, coons, deer and wayward bears have been hard on it in the past and I gave up for a while, but last year about all the garden produce we had was some corn close to the yard. I think maybe our dogs presence kept a lot of varmits away.

And we are getting desperate needing rain. Too dry to plant right now just a powder keg.
We plant taters on Valentine's day. First mess was dug this week.

Wish we could have shared some of our rain with y’all. It rained seemed like for a year and a half to the point that couldn’t hardly get hay up, then toward late summer last year it turned off dry and we had to water some of the cattle. This winter was rain and mud, I’m afraid it might be trying to turn off dry here. The last couple predictions of rain haven’t amounted to much. |

My older brother loved messing around in the garden. He even taught me to grow marijuana in a large pot on the terrace. But there were so many nuances that I did not try. Now I use ready-made CBD oil for treatment - www.shoppingcbd.com/best-cbd-oils-uk/ Maybe I'm just lazy? I dont know)) |

It rained for a long time, so no work was out of the question. There was a week break, so we worked in the garden, and now it's raining again. While we rest, I think about how to make the garden cozier, order a swing, decorate it a bit.
