Often we are very troubled about why things happen to us on earth. The pain of losing someone as we are left behind, or even the Corona virus sweeping across all countries. It just does not make sense.
But remember when Jesus was speaking to his disciples, as he was trying to prepare them for the event that would take him away from them. They really had a hard time trying figuring out what he was trying to tell them. For he said, "Where I go, you cannot follow." They did not understand.
John 16:12
Jesus said,"Yet I have many things to tell you, but you are not able to bear it now."
There are many things we do not understand now, just as the disciples did not understand. When we all get to heaven, we will know the truth, and will fully understand.
I remember as a child, there were things that I wanted to do that my parents said no to. I could not understand why they would not allow me to do the things that I wished to do. I had no idea about the evil of the world then.
But now that I have become an adult, it made so much sense why they said no. In the end, we will know why.
