England got a bunch as well. I wonder if it either has noxious weeds in them or some type of crop disease.

The seed pics shown are definitely neither pot nor poppy. FWIW there's no discernible physical difference between the miniscule seeds of Opium poppies and all other of the species in the genus including those you pay a fortune for at the grocery store to sprinkle on baked goods and add to salad dressings.
