Do any of you ever drink coffee with chicory? In the old days, at times, that is all they had, so when I found out Community Coffee offered it in the stores, I grabbed a bag of it to see what it was like. I am not big on additives in coffee, and I get burned out on the same coffee over and over. I tried it on it's own, but found it to be best when I mixed it half and half with another coffee. I mix a dark roast coffee with the Community Brand, Coffee with Chicory. It calls for a 1 1/2 Tablespoon per cup, so on my 8 cup percolator, I use 4 dark roast coffee spoons, and then the 4 1/2 T of Chicory Coffee.
It is so good. I don't drink it all the time because I don't want to get burnt out on it. I am not sure how it would taste if you drink it straight, but I do use a creamer and stevia in my coffee.
