Expensive is better than none I guess. There's none around here.
Pretty big operator around us generally has about 5k bales right now. He's got irrigation and only has 800.
We haven't laid down any summer grass. Cut some old growth off late spring, to make it more tender this fall. Has no real value other than just being filler.
Going to be a long winter.
